Over our Pizza we talked about how wonderful this whole process is and the nice people we have met. If you don't enjoy meeting with the vendors and reaping in their expertise and the love for what they do, you surely would miss alot.
We are blessed!!
Enjoy what is happening in your life right now because you will never get these moments back!

Here is RaLynn, Bill, Alex, Hanna and Hayley...what a good looking family!
And Princess Hayley...
Thursday night, we had a shower for my friend Michelle from work at Khoury's Restaurant. It is always so much fun to get together with people from work...away from work!!
Check out this fantastic cake....
Michelle got some really nice gifts. This stork picture frame was so thoughtful and will be a keepsake! Great idea Mary!
Grayson has the most beautiful big eyes!
Yep, got me some squeezin time in. I could basically dedicate a day of the week to each baby that has been born to a friend this year. So many babies and more on the way!! Hmm...Emmy, Tanya, Jill, Doreen...is that it? (so sorry if I have forgotten anyone)
Teri and I then went to Ingredients. I had some yummy Shrimp fried rice and we each got a flight of wine. It is always fun to get together and chat over wine!
Sunday I met up with Amanda at Axels. I was supposed to have a senior shoot with TJ that day, but the weather did not cooperate...looking forward to his shoot next week!
Matt came home Sunday evening...had a wonderful time...the weather didn't cooperate for the drag racing but he said it was a great time. He met a lot of nice people and saw some cool cars! Monday we went to see Burn After Reading. It was good except we did not like the ending. It was full of great actors/actresses. Brad Pitt was quite the geek in it and that was funny.
Other exciting things...I applied for the marriage license and please keep it a secret but I gave Matt my last name...it is a surprise...I think he will be sooooo excited.....hahahaha...what if I did??
We booked our Honeymoon...sunny Jamaica here we come.
We are going to taste some cake on Thursday...yummy in my tummy here we come!

Okay before I go any further I have to apologize for not taking many pictures. There were so many people there that I rarely get to converse with and I was having a good time just hanging out. So I guess that is where the struggle is sometimes within me as a photographer. Do I enjoy in the memories or capture them...usually it is somewhere in the middle.
My soon to be in-laws....aren't they just cute. I love them, they are such welcoming people.
The sunset was beautiful that night...I don't think I got it at it's prime moment, but it is still pretty.
So after the rain came, some musicians moved inside.
Jake was rockin' out on a piece of wood...it was like he was in a real rock concert!!
Matt occasionally likes to make faces for the camera (BTW I love his playing. The first time I heard him play was not too far into our relationship, he was nervous and I was so in love. I thought "those are the hands that will hold my children someday" Yep, he got me then and still does)Thor...the Bass player for Sidecar...awesome!
Baby John enjoyed flirting with the girls
Sunday around noon my friend Lynn had baby Ava. I went to visit in the evening and Ava was all bundled up in about 10 blankets (so I didn't get to check out all her little parts) but she is just beautiful. I think she is definately a mix between Lynn and Jamie. I plan to go visit really soon to get some more pictures and get my fill of holding her!
I had a wonderful weekend away from work!
Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one. John Lennon

Beth and Berent
Beth was absolutely beautiful
Beth and her bridesmaids...the colors cam together so nice!
Beth, Berent and Leo...he so didn't want his picture taken. He is so cute with all his golden curls!
The wedding party...don't they look great!
Haha....I love me some fun poses Congratulations Beth and Berent...hope you have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!
An albino reticulated python, this thing was neat! Matt looooves to see unusual animals, and this definately was.
I never thought the day would come when I would eat Chocolate dipped Bacon...and enjoy it. This was a brilliant combination...delicious!
mmmm...then we had some homemade tator tots...hashbrowns with cheese, sour cream, bacon, and green onion...deep fried and on-a-stick of course!
We also at Pizza on-a-stick, a tomato stuffed with chicken salad, and blackened steak.
Later on Sunday we headed to Lance and Juliana's house and had some drinks and played cards. Brian and Matt rocked out on the guitars and we reeled in Matts birthday at midnight.
Monday, Labor Day...was Matts B-day and we celebrated with his parents and a couple of his siblings. Mama Peg made Spaghetti and meatballs...mmm mmm good!
Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years. ~Simone Signoret
